    "content": "(a) in sub clause (1)— (i) by deleting the words “from among the members of the Board” appearing in paragraph (a); (ii) by inserting the following new paragraphs immediately after paragraph (c)— “(ca) the Inspector-General of the National Police Service or a designated representative; (cb) the Director of the Kenya Forestry Research Institute or a designated representative; and, (b) by inserting the following new sub-clause immediately after sub-clause (1)— “(1A) A person shall be qualified for appointment as chairperson to the Board if such person— (a) holds a minimum of a bachelors degree from a university recognized in Kenya; (b) has knowledge and experience of, at least, ten years in matters relating to any of the following— (i) management of natural resources; (ii) forest conservation and management; or, (iii) public administration and planning. (c) satisfies the requirements of Chapter six of the Constitution.”"
