"content": "Thank you, Hon Temporary Deputy Chairlady. I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 26 of the Bill be amended by deleting sub clause (2) and substituting therefor the following new sub clauses — “(2) The objects of the Trust Fund shall be to nurture, promote and support innovations and best practices in forest conservation and development including the support of— (a) community forestry programmes; (b) reforestation and afforestation programmes; (c) forestry extension programmes; (d) apprenticeships and vocational training; and (e) programmes for payment for ecosystem services, (3) The Cabinet Secretary shall make rules for the management of the Trust Fund. We are adding a new Sub-clause 2 that is intended to broaden the utilisation of the Forest Trust Fund."
