Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 28 of the Bill be amended by — (a) deleting sub clause (2) and substituting therefor the following new sub clause— (2) The Board of Trustees shall comprise of— (a) a chairperson and four other members appointed by the Cabinet Secretary in an open and competitive process; (b) the Director General or a designated representative, who shall be an ex-officio member of the Board; (c) the principal Secretary responsible for forestry who shall be an ex-officio member of the Board; and (b) inserting the following new sub clause immediately after sub clause (3)— “(4) The Cabinet Secretary shall make regulations for the management and administration of the Fund.”"
