    "content": "I would like to support the amendment by the Chair. It will be very important to have a very clear way of degazetting forests. We have a lot of issues with our forests and if we are not clear, people might sneak in other amendments in our Bills that are likely to degazette forests. Knowing that the international requirement of 10 per cent forest cover should be implemented in Kenya, we should be very careful with the existing forest and any other land that has been illegally acquired that people have been agitating to degazette as forest land."
