Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 43 of the Bill be amended — (a) in the marginal note by deleting the words “national and county” and substituting therefor the word “public”; (b) in Sub clause (4) by deleting the word “licence” and substituting therefor the word “concession”; and (c) by inserting the following new Sub clause immediately after Sub clause (7)— “(7) A grantee of a concession shall provide a bond or some other form of financial security in this section referred to as “an Environmental Protection Bond”. (8) An Environmental Protection Bond shall be of an amount sufficient to cover the costs associated with the implementation of the environmental obligations of the holder under this Act.
