    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Speaker, for giving me this opportunity to add my voice to that of my fellow colleagues in supporting this very important Bill. Let me start by saying that what we are doing today is a journey that has been walked for a very long time. For those who may not know, the first affirmative action Bill was brought to this Floor in the Eighth Parliament by Hon. Phoebe Asiyo who, I believe, is watching today and praying to God that we can end that journey that she began in the Eighth Parliament. We also had it brought in the Ninth Parliament, the 10th Parliament and now in the 11th Parliament."
