    "content": "Based on these facts, there is absolutely no reason as to why Kenya cannot feed her people and even record food surplus. Currently, we are pursuing Vision 2030 anchored on the economic, social and political pillars, but I have said it before, and I want to say it here again, that meaningful development must follow in the footsteps of food sufficiency. It does not make sense for us to be pursuing an ambitious development blue print like Vision 2030 when all we see every year is large sections of the Kenyan population holding out begging bowls for food. For me, this is a contradiction in terms."
