    "content": "Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, I will be very brief. First, I want to thank the RBC for ensuring that the new Senator, Sen. Cheruiyot is now able to discharge his duties in terms of legislation. I want to make it clear that it is important that as we put them in the committees, they are able to attend and be part and parcel of the decisions being made. I hope Sen. Mungai will be able to attend sittings of the Joint Committee on National Cohesion and Equal Opportunities. This is a critical committee that he needs to be attending for the sake of his own county and the issues that have always been raised. Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, therefore, I hope that he will avail himself and have time to be part of this committee which is fantastic. With all the challenges that we are facing in the counties, I think this committee can be able to give recommendations."
