    "content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, the purpose of this amendment is to ensure that we have the several definitions as indicate in the Order Paper. We envisage to provide for clear and acceptable technical definitions within the health sector. On the amendment relating to alternative medicine, we have included provisions for recognition of Kenya indigenous health practices. The purpose is to ensure that the definitions that are mentioned in the Bill are clear. We are also widening the description of telemedicine as it relates to e-health. We are also clarifying the meanings of the terms used in the Bill to make sure that those descriptions fit the definitions that are acceptable to health and the World Health Organisations, bearing in mind that health is an international matter. So, we just wanted to ensure that the definitions that we have in this Bill are in line with the definitions within the health sector."
