    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, this Statement was sought by Sen. Leshore and it regards the public-private partnerships. I wish to respond to the statement as follows. The Senator sought to know a number of things. The statement is very detailed and, because the Senator has a copy, I will go straight to the critical information. The hon. Senator sought to know the number of Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects undertaken across the country in the last three years and the status of each project. Mr. Speaker, Sir, following the coming into force of the Public Private Partnership (PPP) Act in February, 2013, the programme in Kenya has gathered considerable pace and is regarded as having gained solid traction. With a growing pipeline of potentially bankable PPP projects across various economic sectors and county governments, sustainable movement in their development has been registered.
