Temporary Deputy Speaker, a case in point is the National Bank of Kenya (NBK) where a new CEO sacked all the senior managers he found in the Bank within three years of his appointment. Today, the Bank is collapsing because of one person who did not really want to take what was there and the people who had worked for the Bank for all those years. I was a member of staff. I worked for NBK for over 25 years. The Bank was in a sound state of affairs until three years ago when a new person took over. He has made sure the bank is on its knees."
