Temporary Deputy Speaker, but it is unfortunate that the media will use our debate and contributions to judge us and if we are not fairly given chances, then it will be another thing. In contributing to the Motion, I wish to say that our survival and existence entirely depends on the environment. We cannot attain sustainable development if we will not manage our environment. The importance of a clean environment cannot be enumerated exhaustively in this House. Just to mention a few, we need a clean environment if we are to manage our resources, which are land, air and water. We need a clean environment to conserve and protect unique ecosystems. We also need a clean environment if we are to protect the extinction of much endangered ecosystems."
