    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I rise to support the statement by Sen. (Dr.) Khalwale. Let me start by saying that every Kenyan has the right to run for any position in this country. Sen. Wetangula was within his right to go and launch his presidential bid and he cannot be an exception. There is freedom of movement and association as enshrined in our Constitution. All I want to tell my colleagues in the CORD fraternity is to be very wary of our opponents on the opposite side. I do not know of any shop or supermarket where one can buy teargas as it is a preserve of the police. Therefore, I support when I hear my colleagues say that investigations must be done. They must be done thoroughly so that we establish where the teargas that was used was obtained from."
