    "content": "Hon. Deputy Speaker, my colleagues need to appreciate that when the Jubilee Government came to power, there are promises that were made to the people of Kenya. One of them was that the economy would grow at 7 per cent in the first year and then at double digit in the following year. As I speak, the economic prospect of this country is in great danger. I wish Hon. Shill would just listen to me because this is not about me. It is about the future of this country. It is about our ability to repay public debt. By the time the Jubilee Administration was taking power in 2013, our public debt was at Kshs1.6 trillion. As I speak, it is at Kshs3.2 trillion.
