"content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I rise to support this Motion. Yesterday, at 4.30 p.m. when the National Assembly passed the business that we will transact, courtesy of this Procedural Motion, News Alert 411 recorded that the National Assembly had passed that Bill and it was waiting for the President’s assent. Some of us were shocked because, definitely. sports is a devolved function. It affects counties. We were shocked that somebody would imagine that this Bill would go to the President for assent without the input of this House. Now, that reason has prevailed and this Bill is with us, we have to put all effort to ensure that we transact this business and complete it within the required time. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, with those remarks, I beg to support."
