    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I also rise to support the Motion with a rider. I remember that the Senate Minority Leader said that this Motion shall not require much debate. We can come and vote quickly. However, we must allow the hon. Senators to debate on the matter even as we vote. It is a very important issue. If there is a team in this country that shames tribalists and goes out there and identifies us, as Kenyans, it is our athletes. Whereas, I agree with the Senator for Kisumu, my teacher, Sen. (Prof.) Anyang'- Nyong'o; the fact that they must all be rewarded in the best manner possible, we must remember that they did not do it for the money. They are not doing it for the money. They do it because of the passion that they have for the sport and Kenya. In a way, we must never make it a situation where you work for it because of the money. We will reward what they have done.
