    "content": "This is because hon. Members will recollect that we originally set a deadline for Thursday last week. As at that date, the Committee was not ready with its Report and so we extended time to this afternoon. It will appear like the Committee is still not ready and yet it is dealing with a matter that is of grave national importance and which is keeping the whole country anxious. Indeed, Kenyans are waiting with bated breath for the Report of this Committee. I want to commend the Departmental Committee on Finance, Planning and Trade for doing everything within its powers, including sitting for as long as 12 hours a day, to expedite its Report. On behalf of the House, I thank the Members of that Committee for their industry."
