"content": "Hon. Speaker, I rise under Standing Order No.197, relating to limitations of mandate of committees in relation to the examination of audited reports of political parties by this House. I have, so far, in the last three years, tabled the audited reports of over 60 political parties, which I have here and are available to Members. On Tuesday, as on many other occasions, I laid the Report of the Auditor-General on the Accounts of Political Parties. The reports are submitted by the Auditor-General, as required, under Sections 29, 30 and 31 of the Political Parties Act, 2011, and as amended in 2012."
