    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman. I want to plead with the Chair of the Departmental Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs. Let us not discriminate people. This amendment is basically discriminative. Political parties are for the people of Kenya. This Fund is based on what the universal electorate will vote for. If you are going to deny a political party funding because their constituencies refused to elect a certain gender, that is discriminatory. I have never disagreed with the Chair, but on this amendment I want him not to take us through a lot of debate. He should just withdraw the amendment."
