    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman. I stand to strongly support the amendment. Our Constitution is very clear that we are supposed to promote positive discrimination. This is a form of positive discrimination. It is very evident in this country that political parties have not encouraged women. Instead, they have discouraged women. I concur with our Chair. I want to stress here that the Chairman of the Departmental Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs is a very progressive Chair. I want to plead with the Leader of the Majority Party to support women as he has been doing."
