    "content": "We have talked a lot about gender balance but we have not taken adequate measures. This Bill is one of those adequate measures. This time round after the coming election there will be no debate on how many women or men come to Parliament, we will fill the numbers. I want to thank the Leader of the Majority Party for bringing this Bill because for the first time we will not depend on anybody. We are setting it here clearly. We will just have to fill the numbers missing. If 20 will be missing we will bring them according to the method that will be put forward. When this Bill is passed, the country will know that the more women we elect, the better because there will be lesser need for nomination. We should work towards having more elected women, not nominated; as we put legal instruments to ensure that the numbers are filled."
