    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I think I will proceed. The answer that the Assistant Minister has read is quite shallow. I had asked a very specific question. I had asked whether the Government could consider extending the COMESA deadline considering that very little has been done in reforming the sugar sector. The answer that the Assistant Minister has given has explained that an extension could not be given. Could he tell us why it is difficult for them to extend the deadline, while he knows very well that our sugar factories are not properly positioned to match the COMESA prices that will be coming into the market very soon?"
