    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker. I wish to support the Mediated Version of the Political Parties (Amendment) Bill. In supporting, as a country, we need to move towards democratisation of our parties and towards ensuring better governance of our parties. This will only be possible if we strengthen these parties and move away from the smaller parties. I acknowledge that some of the reasons we have people moving into smaller parties is because of the fact that most times our parties have not been very democratic. Therefore, I urge Hon. Members to look at the proposed amendments that are coming with the Election Laws (Amendment) Bill and other amendments that are being proposed in the The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
