    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. First and foremost, I thank the Mover of the Motion, Hon. (Dr.) Ottichilo for coming up with such a noble idea. It is so imperative that we, as a country, manage and take care of our environment. It is not lost to us that many of our urban centres have been turned into jungles. There are heaps of garbage in towns. There is a lot of uncollected rubbish lying around. This cannot be left to other people. As citizens working together with government and private institutions, we have to ensure that our environment is clean. That is how we avoid the emerging infectious diseases which are airborne or waterborne. They come as a result of mismanagement of our environment."
