Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 10 of the Bill be amended — (a) in Sub-clause (1)— (i) by inserting the following new paragraph immediately after paragraph (b)- “(ba) The Attorney General or a representative designated in writing by the Attorney General;” (ii) by inserting the words “who shall be the Secretary to the Board;” immediately after the words “Chief Executive Officer;” appearing in paragraph(d) (b) in Sub-clause (2)— (i) by deleting paragraph (a) and substituting therefor the following new paragraph “(a) holds a post-secondary school education qualification recognised in Kenya;” (ii) by deleting the words ‘sports or administration’ appearing in paragraph (b) and substituting therefor the words ‘sports, management, administration or any other relevant field’ (c) in sub clause (3) by deleting the words ‘ensure the representation of women, youth and persons with disabilities’ and substituting therefor the words ‘ensure compliance with the Constitution’ (d) in sub clause (5) by deleting paragraph (c)."
