    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman. I beg to move:- THAT, clause 29 of the Bill be amended in sub clause (2) — (a) by deleting the word ”have” appearing in paragraph (b) and substituting therefor the words “with permission authorized in writing by the Inspector General of Police exercise (b) by deleting the words “subject to the direction of the Director of Public Prosecution” appearing in paragraph (c) and substituting therefor the words “may cooperate with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions to” This amendment was done because powers to arrest must be authorised by the Inspector General of Police (IG). Unless they are given powers to arrest, officers of WADA cannot do it. That is why we gave this amendment. It was not given in the previous clause. We are seeking the powers by the IG to the officers so that they are authorised to do arrests. Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman."
