Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 6 of the Bill be amended in sub-clause (1) by deleting the words “for which it is held” and substituting therefor the words “traditionally entitled to or resident on the land”. The County Government holds a register on Clause 6(1). My recommendation or amendment to it is “traditionally entitled to or resident of the land” be included. This is because we have traditional owners of land and if they are not included then they will be vulnerable. They will not have an opportunity to protect the land where they buried their forefathers."
