    "content": "THAT, the Sub-county with a population of 137,092 people, as per the 2009 population census, did not produce any recruit to the KDF in two consecutive recruitment exercises in 2014 and 2015; THAT, efforts to have a recruitment centre set up in Navakholo Sub-county by the Ministry of Defence has not yet borne fruit; THAT, the issues in respect of which this Petition is made are not pending before any court of law, constitutional or statutory body. Therefore, your humble Petitioners pray that the National Assembly, through the Departmental Committee on Defence and Foreign Relations:- (i) recommends that the Cabinet Secretary for Defence sets up a recruitment centre in Navakholo Sub-county for the purpose of recruiting officers to the KDF to ensure that youth from the Sub-county get a chance to serve in the KDF; and (ii) any other recommendation in favour of the Petitioners. And your Petitioners will ever pray."
