Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 18 of the Bill be amended— (a) in Sub-clause (1) by deleting the expression “section 7” and substituting therefor the expression, “section 8”; (b) in Sub-clause (3) by deleting the word “two” and substituting therefor the word “one ”. The proposed amendment seeks to remove a typographical error and reduce the penalty of a person convicted of alteration."
