    "content": "I want to persuade the Hon. Members to agree with me on this particular one. The Data Protection Bill that is coming has an internal tribunal mechanism first before we go to the Commission. The proposed mediation by the Commission is the second best alternative to that proposal before the matter goes to adversarial. Sometimes, a person can request for information but before being given reasons as to why the information cannot be availed and the matter raises a lot of controversy, there is a chance for mediation between the requester and the department from which the information is sought. The Commission will handle that mediation. Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, as you know, in our new constitutional jurisprudence, alternative dispute resolution has become a big thing, including in the Judiciary. Before we all end up in court, let us try and negotiate this matter out of court."
