Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 9 of the Bill be amended— (a) in the marginal note by deleting the word “Authority” and substituting therefor the word “Commission”; (b) in the heading by deleting the word “Authority” and substituting therefor the word “Commission”; (c) by deleting the word “Authority” wherever it appears and substituting therefor the word “Commission”; The amendment seeks to re-define the name of the Energy Regulatory Authority to the “Energy Regulatory Commission.” Section 9 talks about the establishment of the Energy Regulatory Authority. Therefore, we seek, in the marginal notes, to delete the word “authority” and substitute therefor with the word “Commission” in the entire clause."
