Temporary Deputy Speaker, another re-allocation, which I support is that of the Kshs200 million that has been taken from the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries and moved to the Kenya Meat Commission (KMC). I am aware that the Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries was scheduled to visit that facility today. He will observe that this is a very important facility. Livestock products account for 12 per cent of our Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Therefore, if we improve the facilities that cater for livestock keepers and their products, especially the KMC, and invest in disease control mechanisms, the contribution of 12 per cent to the GDP can go up.
