I also suggest that this Bill that we are presenting be interrogated with a view to making it law, as quickly as possible, so that our Principals; His Excellency the President and the Right Hon. Prime Minister, can utilise the authority now conferred on them to use the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) to source out qualified Kenyans for appointment as judges, so that we can have new judges in order to answer, among other things, the demands of justice in the first place. Secondly, in order to address the demands of the challenges that the country is facing right now, on the issue of the Rome Statute and the ICC."
