Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 2 of the Bill be amended by inserting the following new definitions in their proper alphabetical sequence— Cap. 114 “firearm” has the meaning assigned to it under the Firearms Act; “foreign power” means a foreign government, foreign organization or an entity that is directed or controlled by a foreign government or foreign organization. The import of this amendment is to ensure that there is clarity in the use of the two terms."
