"content": "So guided. Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, I was speaking to the people of Kakamega. I told them that the rot in the health sector is not acceptable at all in Kakamega, especially the former Provincial General Hospital (PGH) which is now Kakamega Level 5 Hospital. The national Government has given, as it did in the last and previous financial years, Kshs406,936,416 specifically to make the former Kakamega PGH work. Kakamega PGH never used to receive hundreds of millions of shillings at the time I was in the Ministry of Health (MoH) in 1990. We never used to receive money. I was able to run that hospital with 972 nurses. Today, they have only 200 nurses. We had five medical specialists in gynecology, surgery, pediatrics---"
