(a) Members of Land Disputes Tribunals are paid allowances and expenses as set out in the Land Dispute Tribunal Remuneration and Amendment Rules of 2001. These allowances are set in comparison with other tribunals of similar magnitude. (b) Member of Kandara Land Dispute Tribunal have been paid a total of Kshs46,700 since their appointment. (c) More funding will be available to pay their allowances during the second half of 2010/2011 financial year."
