    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. Sometimes because we do not pay attention, we really pass laws that hurt our people. As things stand, this country basically manufactures nothing for home use. Nothing is made in Kenya for our home use. If you tell Parliament to pass a law that says that there shall be paid a levy known as the Railways Development Levy on all goods imported into the country for home use, in other words, you are levying everything we use in our households. Where we stand, the microphone you are using, the water containers and the pens we use will attract this levy."
