    "content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, we are substituting the words “Field Development Plan” with the words “production sharing contract”. In essence, for clarity, the field development plan comes long after the production sharing agreement has been signed and commercial basis found. That is when the plan of how that field is going to be developed comes in. This Bill provides that, that is the particular time that the plan should come to Parliament. We thought that, that is way long after because that will not change the production sharing agreement which details the agreements and the sharing ratios between the Government and the contractor. That is why we thought it is important to have the production sharing agreement brought for ratification. The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
