Apart from the security of the boda boda operators themselves, the security of their customers needs to be addressed. What is expected? We have had cases of harassment, but even before that, how is a customer on a boda boda, in terms of safety, expected to be covered? We know that when you are riding a motorcycle, you are supposed to wear a helmet. What about when you are riding a bicycle or a boda boda ? The Government needs to come out and say something about the security issues. How about charges? We know that in certain areas, charges are like this or that. Is it not time the Government gave certain standards, so that people can have expectations and business goes on properly?"
