    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady. I would have used another synonym but I will reserve my comments and say “the Committee”. The Committee shall be on record for killing constitutional offices. They are trying to do this by deleting Subsection 1 and substituting it with a new subsection. The Committee is killing the NLC. The Committee is also saying that the national Government shall administer settlement programmes in consultation with the NLC. The original Act says that the Commission shall assist the national Government and the county governments in the administration of settlement programmes."
