    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady. I stand to support the amendment. If we remove those powers from NLC, it would be better if we disbanded it. As it is now, it seems like the amendments are meant to interfere with the land rights of some regions. This amendment is not for the entire country, but for sections of the country. It is clear that the regions that are being targeted are the Coast, Rift Valley, North Eastern and Eastern. Let the clause remain as it is in the original Act.
