I plead with my fellow Members that the amendment on the Order Paper has been subjected to scrutiny by the Committee and we do not doubt the capacity of the Committee. When someone brings an amendment to a Bill, let him be sure because some of us are not Members of the Committee. You need to explain so that it becomes clear why you want to amend. Sometimes, we just say delete and then later, we make it worse than the law that exists. I plead with my colleagues to make laws for posterity, but not for regions or individuals."
