    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir. Pursuant to Standing Order No. 45 (2) (b), I rise to seek a Statement from the Chairperson of the Standing Committee on Education regarding delay in payment of teachers who marked the 2015 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) national exams. In the Statement, the Chairperson should:- (1) Explain the cause of the delay given the fact that the examiners are usually paid their dues latest with the March salary of the subsequent year. (2) Explain why the concerned Cabinet Secretary has not explained the cause of the delay to the concerned teachers. (3) State the timelines for payment of the dues for accountability and transparency in future."
