    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I also want to ride on that Statement, given the fact that there are thousands of people from my county who trade in various trading centres, from Githurai, Thika, Wangige and Limuru, and eke out a living from the sale of second-hand clothes. The Chairman of the Committee should tell this House, in the Statement sought by the Senator for Vihiga, whether there is a clear feasible roadmap to compensate these people. The plan to ban the sale of second-hand clothes should be put on hold until such a time when there is a tangible plan for compensation and alternative businesses that these people can do.
