    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I rise pursuant to Standing Order No.45(2)(b) to seek for a statement from the chairperson of the standing Committee on Energy regarding the electrical power failure in Pokot North Sub-County which has adversely affected operations at Kacheliba Sub-County Hospital. In the Statement, the Chairperson should:- (a)state whether he is aware that Kacheliba Sub-County Hospital which is in Pokot North Sub-County has had no electricity for the last two weeks and this has led to the damage of medical equipment and occasioned total collapse of operations at the hospital thereby bringing service delivery to a complete halt; (b) explain the cause of the electrical power failure; and, (c) state measures being taken to immediately restore power to this critical facility and to ensure that the problem does not recur in future."
