The procedure used to be that the Leader of the Majority Party and the Leader of the Minority Party write to the Clerk to commit the membership of the House to such an arrangement. That is the procedure. I will speak to our Whips. This afternoon we will write to you an authorization, on behalf of our membership, to deduct the Kshs5,000 from each Member. If you do not have any commitment letter from the leadership, then it will bring an audit query. Somebody who was not here for this Special Sitting might ask how their Ksh5,000 was deducted. Let us give you some document that will commit the membership, through their leadership."
