    "content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, I want to support this amendment by the Senate and also the endorsement by the Committee. This is a very innovative proposal because most of our water resources are not conserved. WRMA gives licences for exploitation but not for conservation. As a result, most of our rivers have dried and most catchment areas have been destroyed. Therefore, we are running a major risk of having water becoming deficient in many areas of the country."
