This country must find a way to lessen the burdens that we keep on piling on the present and future generations of Kenya instead of increasing them through approvals such as this. With those remarks, I pause and request my colleagues that before we approve the Government of Kenya guarantee for the amount of Kshs27.3 billion, let us stop to think what we have done to our country in consciously allowing our debt to balloon to almost unmanageable levels. I oppose the Motion."
