    "content": "We are seeking for the reduction of the publication period to enable us to conduct public participation especially with regard to the Constitution of Kenya (Amendment) Bill (No.2) of 2016. The reason being we are seeking to increase the number of days within which a Presidential Petition will be heard by the Supreme Court from 14 days to 30 days. This Bill if passed by the National Assembly must also be passed by the Senate. So, it requires some time to enable the two Houses to discuss and pass it in good time. Basically, it is a straightforward Motion. I would like to request Hon. Florence Kajuju to second. I thank you."
