I have seen many people coming up with the narrative that sugarcane production is not profitable. Why are we having private millers there? Many of the Butalis have come. It is profitable. It is only that the policies that have been put in place have a lot of overheads. The KRA is sleeping on the job. A lot of sugar imports compete with our local sugar. I thank the Mover of the Bill.
